Black Friday in Vegas
November 27, 2009 | Las Vegas, Nevada | Vetting explained
Its the day after Thanksgiving aka "Black Friday" - one of the busiest shopping days of the year. People camp out and wait in long lines to grab up all the deals they can get.
I ventured out this morning in Vegas to see what I could get. I ended up with a $140 Nikon camera for $88 at Traget. I'm very happy with my deal.
I stopped over at Kohl's and although they had amazing deals, I could not wait in the 2 hour line to check out. Maybe I'll stop back a little later on in the afternoon to see if the lines are still long.
We are in a recession and I guess with all the deals the people had to go out and take the stores up on the offers. It feels like this year had bigger crowds than last year when I ventured out on Black Friday.
