This February, 1500 young delegates from 192 countries will all gather at London for the first One Young World Summit. With the endorsement from many well-known leaders such as Kofi Annan, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and Bob Geldof; this event raises itself to another level of quality and professionalism.
The delegates will address six key issues:
- Developing Political Leadership for a positive future
- Global Business and its role in shaping society through the economy
- Inter-faith dialogue
- The Environment and its protection
- The Media, its changing identity and its power
- Global Health, its polarities and impact
In regard of the selecting process, the organizers have chosen Facebook to be the platform where one can stand as a candidate and get elected to become an official delegate.
>> I'm myself standing as a candidate with the hope of representing Vietnamese youth at the coming conference. Please visit and read my page at http://apps.facebook.com/oywcandidates/entry/1590/ and please VOTE if you think I deserve the spot. It only takes 10 seconds to vote and every single vote means a lot to me. Thank you!

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.

The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
