Violence erupts on the streets of Ciudad Juarez
December 18, 2009 | Juarez, Mexico | Vetting explained
Violence is very much a part of everyday life in Ciudad Juarez. In 2009, there has been over 2,400 drug related killings already, thats an average of 8-10 a day. While I was here, one day they killed 16, another 13 and after the top Sinaloa Cartel leader was killed, the death rate rose to 20 that day which included a injured police officer. No word on whether he has survived or not.
