We were promised a grand jury hearing but as soon as we found out my ex (who we suspect of murdering her ) is a DEPUTY SHERIFF IN RAPIDES PARISH within the SAME TOWN! the DA recused themselves and ran hiding behind the LA Justice Dept. We would like the facts presented to the grand jury and I am also requesting a coroners inquest into the handling of my daughter's body and documentation during autopsy. 3 people took photos of the crime scene, yet there are only 14 total? No autopsy photos, NO video from the patrol cars from either incident? Initially we were told that the cars were not equipped, then months later we found out that "due to positioning of the vehicles" no video is available. They lied. These people lied to us over and over, gave us false hope of a hearing only to take it away. With no answers, no one held accountable, nothing but a dead girl in the home of man she barely knew, full of lethal drugs found in his home. WHY? Those who loved her want answers. We want to know why the deputy didn't take her to the police station after finding her in the highway flagging traffic. She was hysterical and wanted to get away from her father. (this was the 2nd time she requested get away from him) We want to know where the videos are of the domestic disturbance at the trailer and the incident on the hightway when Heather ran the car off the road to get away from her father. We want to know why her father lied and said she lived with him? and they believed it even after having PROOF she did not. We want to know why there were no drugs or empty bottles found in the room she was in, according to her father for OVER 12 hours? all the bottles were in the room he was occupying at the time, ALL of them. We want to know how she can have more drugs in her system than she had access too. We want to know why the coroner noted "an unexplained pucture wound on the inside of the left arm with bruising" but didn't photograph it? or investigate it further. and most of all I want to know WHEN SHE DIED, every place that mentions "time of death" it is noted FOUND at xxxx. If she was only dead for less than 12 hours WHY can they not give me a time of death? Nothing can bring Heather back to us but nothing will bring closure until I know why my daughter is dead, she was a happy girl with a bright future with tons of possibilities. For anyone to claim she did this herself is inconcievable. all I want are answers not more lies
