Bacchus
June 23, 2008 | Durham, North Carolina | Vetting explained
Bacchus, my 70 pound standard poodle, that I've held since the second he was born, was getting up in age. As I had decided to get a tatoo, however wanted it to be very meaningful, I decided to honor Bacchus. As he turned 13 years old, I stamped his paw on a piece of paper and brought it to a tatoo parlor. Ironically, the artist himself owned a standard poodle as well. The artist did a great job as the picture shows. Bacchus died at the age of 15 in 2007 a happy, sweet fellow loved and missed by all. His spirit and paw will always be with me.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
