Bail-Outs...Banks..//..Haiti
January 14, 2010 | paris, France | Vetting explained
Coincidence?...yesterday a government investigation into the $100's of billions given to bail-out banks with the consequence of $100's of millions given as bonuses to bank presidents....
and then....
the meagre $3-$6 million offered in aid by the United Nations relief fund and individual western European countries to the millions of Haitians injured...homeless and starving as a result of yesterday's multiple earthquakes...
no bang for the buck with Haitian lives...
......so,... can we as iReporters do something more than debate?,...have opinions?....take photos and make videos?...can we mobilize and really make a difference...the reason, which for many of us, brought us together in the first place?
If we are really, as is often suggested, a community...can we mobilze and make a difference...?.
Everyone cares....it is time to go beyond that...act...
Help by bailing out those who really need it.....they have needed it for decades and clearly need it now more than ever
Please,.. contact CNN producers and express your interest in acting and giving as a community.....

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
