A federal Manhattan judge has ruled that the Naked Cowboy has a right to take his case to trial. The Naked Cowboy, real name Robert Burck, is suing Mars, Inc. for trademark infringement. The Naked Cowboy plays a guitar and sings in Manhattan Times Square wearing underwear, cowboy hat, and cowboy boots. Robert Burck is claiming that the dressed up blue cowboy M&M represents him. You can read Robert Burck's actual trademark registration by following this link from the Naked Cowboy's website:
http://www.nakedcowboy.com/trade/trademark.htm The photos featured were taken with the Naked Cowboy 11/2/07 when I was in Manhattan. I remember it being cool that day but standing next to him the heat was on. lol Unless that Blue M&M looks like David Beckham, Matthew McConaughey, Dave Batista, or John Cena underneath the costume, there is no way the Blue M&M could ever look as good as the Naked Cowboy. lol Watch out Mario Lopez, the competition for the "IT GUY" is on! lol
