4th of July -- "Chicago Style"
A highlight of the year is watching the fireworks launched off Chicago's Navy Pier with the 1812 Overture played in the background. Viewing from a friend's sailboat on Lake Michigan under the stars on a typical 75 degree clear, summer evening, with tens of thousands of others, we peacefully celebrate America's freedoms. I can't imagine many locations that offer a better way to spend the evening of the 4th of July.
