Independence Day is approaching but Americans will be celebrating it with complaints of gas prices, war, and the economy. Let's not forget the Presidential race. For years the USA has helped other countries recover from natural disasters and other ways that are preventing that country's people to have a way of life.
We were there when the typhoon, earthquakes and cyclones destroy these countries. Where are this countries when it came time to support us during the war on terrorism?
It is strange as how we go as far as help others far away. But it is really hard to believe that we can't even take care of our own. Yeah we got our military dying in this war on terror. But we put them there.
When Hurricane Katrina hit the south it took us four days to help them out. Now the Mississippi River levees are breaking in Iowa and Missouri and we just sit and watch the news talk about it.
Economy is at its worst but we still have billions and billions of dollars to spend on the a war which we started on assumptions and not on facts. Instead of using that money to fix those levees and creating jobs we using to create a wall. History repeats itself "Mr. USA President tear down that wall"
So for this Fourth of July when the fireworks start to go off, think about the Independence Day for the USA, the servicemember that protect its freedom. But also think about America needs to help its people too.
