Trash in Italy - everyday life
July 4, 2008 | Licola, Italy | Vetting explained
I am stationed in Naples, Italy with the US military. I live in Licola, a town north of Naples. I am deeply saddened at the oppression of the people of the Campania Region and Caserta Province. I wanted to show that it doesn't matter where you live, how much money you have this problem affects all. The earth, the stray dogs, the people of this region squander in trash and it is sickening. My video isn't the most sickening, doesn't show the riots that occured last year or the massive piles of trash being set on fire but it does show what everyday life is like with the trash. The video is from my house to the trash pile and the drive I take to throw out my trash. I didn't realize that you could also tell how close the trash pile is by listening to the song being played on the radio. I hope all realize how sad the situation is here in Italy, the oppression of the citizens of Italy, the foreigners here for work, the immigrants and stray dogs/cats is disheartening and scary.
