Unite for Change: 1480 KPHX Phoenix Party
1480 KPHX, the Phoenix Progressive Talk radio station held a Unite
for Change party on July 1, 2008. Announced as a Barack Obama
event, it turned out to be more of a unite-Arizona-Democrats party.
Event organizer Art Mobley said some one hundred people signed up
on the Barack Obama website, but there were many more than that at
the 1130 restaurant in the Arizona Center, Phoenix, Ariz. It was
wall to wall in the bar, in the main dining area and outside on the
patio.
