Statue of Liberty
July 10, 2008 | Camp Dodge, Iowa | Vetting explained
I watched the Styrofoam Statue of Liberty piece today and thought I'd send you this remarkable picture taken in 1918 at Camp Dodge, Iowa, of 18,000 solders in the form of the Statue of Liberty. Americans love liberty and The Statue of Liberty. They have been honoring her for years.
I do not know the source of the picture. It was sent to me in an email some time ago. I do not know the day/month of the picture but the year was 1918.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
