HOTLANTA is for ME!
July 10, 2008 | Clinton, Indiana | Vetting explained
My husband and I are huge NASCAR fans, and we would love to spend an October weekend in Atlanta. I broke my leg two weeks before my first Bristol race five years ago, and my only concern was that we would still go. It was a great race, though not easy on crutches! I painted my cast with DuPont and 24, and put up with all of the "funny" comments such as, "You'd go faster if you'd change that #24 to a (substitute ANY other number here)." It never got old. I drove myself to Tony Stewart's dirt track (Eldora) last month to watch the Prelude to the Dream race. The work NASCAR drivers do to help others (like Tony raising $1million for Kyle Petty's Victory Junction Gang) is another reason I am so in love with racing.
