One Deserving Man
July 10, 2008 | Crestview, Florida | Vetting explained
Dear Robin,
I don't have a video yet but I do know a man I feel deserves a chance to see the race first hand. A little background first. As many teens experience, I too had a rough and tumble time. I struggled with everything around me, my parents, school and all facets of my life seemed like a disaster. There was one guy I could always talk to. He is my sisters husband Mike. He was always there when I was at my lowest. Many years have passed and I am now 46. I am a successful businessman and enjoy life. I have always wanted to thank him for his compassion but didnt know how. He is a huge Nascar fan and as I watched your program it hit me....I have to try. You see, Mike was one of the last people in this country to contract Polio and his health is beginning to show signs of the distress of the early years of the disease. His physical stature is small, but his heart is huge. Please consider him for the win and help me repay him.
Thanks,
Jeff
