CA Gas Heading to $6/gal.
July 14, 2008 | San Mateo, California | Vetting explained
Biggie oil company Shell is charging way over $5/gal, nearly half-way up towards $6/gallon in some so-called 'service' stations in northern California. This one is located on El Camino Real, in San Mateo, CA., near Hwy 92, about 20 minutes south of San Francisco, on the peninsula. In all fairness, other stations in the neighborhood charge less than this Shell operator. And the Shell station rarely has a vehicle at their pumps. Still, the whole gas situation is totally crazy.
