Just by setting up a blog on one of the many internet blogging sites, and using a free internet petition account, Patrick Flanigan has collected over 600 signatures of an internet petition for a dog park in his local township. Spawning off  the internet petition is a traditional petition that is above 400 signatures now, and expected to grow into the 1000s by the end of the summer.

Just one man with a blog, has been able to grab the support of the local population and set a fire towards a  movement that is ever growing.

Bucks County will soon be home to two other dog parks, while the dog park that Mr. Flanigan is trying to get is located some 20 minutes away from those ones. He's trying to get the dog park either in Newtown Township, on state land at Tyler State Park, or on county land at Core Creek County Park.

Dog parks are fenced in areas that dogs and go off leash and enjoy socializing with other pooches. It's only a matter of time before the county or state goes with this. "What better time than now, while we have a reknowned dog lover as Governor!" Mr. Flanigan said to a few friends.
