My Father "Played" with Babe Ruth...
Well... not Baseball, but as a child my Dad, Aunt and their
childhood
friend in Greenwood Lake, NY played some wintertime games with "The
Babe". Enclosed is a picture of my Dad (left) posing with a snowman
they built. My Dad just turned 76 last week and still has the
softball he signed when he was a child along with a number of
memorabilia pieces of the time. Family stories passed along also
tell of my Grandmother teaching Babe how to make a mean batch of
chili!
