Biodiesel!
July 15, 2008 | Las Vegas, Nevada | Vetting explained
My 2006 Jeep Liberty - diesel engine model - was also the first new car I've ever purchased. A chain of gas stations here in Las Vegas sells a bio-blend of diesel fuel, and I wanted to support retail sales of that fuel as well as drive a car that I thought would be more environmentally friendly.
My hope is to convert to 100% biodiesel here in the near future, as gas prices have made even the biodiesel blend prohibitively expensive. I have also been informed that the diesel engine will require less maintenance and will last me much longer than a traditional gasoline model - here's hoping!

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
