Perfection.
July 18, 2008 | Las Vegas, Nevada | Vetting explained
I attended the Las Vegas IMAX showing at 3 a.m. this morning...I'd been following the development of the movie for a long time, and expected a masterpiece - but this managed to exceed even my high hopes.
I went in knowing that Heath Ledger's performance would be phenominal - what delighted me was that the script, plot and dialogue were equally amazing...the two elements are each made stronger by the other.
As a comic book fan, it was really exciting to see the Joker finally portrayed as the disturbed maniac he is - as much as the earlier actors were good, I think we've finally seen "the" Joker on screen.
This photo shows my friend Mario Carrillo in the theater lobby at the Palms casino at 6 a.m. - right after we got out of the film.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
