Mayor Cory Booker on Obama, Hip-Hop, and Being Yourself
July 21, 2008 | Atlanta, Georgia | Vetting explained
I had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Mayor Cory Booker of Newark, New Jersey on Saturday, and it was an unforgettably AMAZING experience to say the very least! At just 39 years old, he is one of the youngest, best, and brightest public servants in our country, and has already achieved more than most 90 year-olds do. He is not just the future, he is the NOW!
Check out my interview to hear what he has to say about Barack Obama, Hip-Hop being yourself, and making a difference.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
