Beating the heat in Texas
It had been over 100 in Austin Texas for 8 of the past 10 days. So, I headed down to historic Gruene (pronounced like the color 'green') TX to listen some live music and check out the people staying cool in the Guadalupe River.
The best seat in the house was taken by a couple who walked into the middle of the river with their chairs and books to read.
For the more energetic, tubing and rafting are good ways to show off in front of your friends and significant others.
