Tornado Rips Southern New Hampshire

An apparrent tornado ripped through parts of New Hampshire today.

The hardsest hit area appears to be around Epsom, where 50 to 100 homes were destroyed or damaged. There has been one confirmed death in this area from the storm.

NH Govenor Lynch has declared a state of emergency and opened the command center in Concord as well as many shelters in the affected areas.
Emergency crews are going house to house checking the well being of residents and checking damage.

There are many damage reports and road closures streatching out into Alton, New Durham, Wolfborro and Effingham, in the lakes region.
