There's a nasty blue animal running around the country taking
people for as much as they can and giving nothing in
return...except regret and remorse. The BlueHippo Funding
Corporation is preying on those who desperately want to repair
thier credir and get something in the process. The pitch is saoked
in great offers of products and incentives. In reality...Blue Hippo
is ripping off thousands of people for millions of dollars and
although having numerous judgements against them and settlements
levied...they continue to advertise thier offer and conduct
business as if nothing has changed. They tell you a great story
about a top of the line Laptop, desktop, any PC for that matter and
that for calling this week you will receive something like a free
digital camera, a flatscreen tv, a free printer or scanner and
heaven only knows what else. Now all you have to do is let them
have $99.00. They will place your order. They will then send you
documents that you must sign and return and then they will ship
your computer and free gifts. Right? Wrong. When you get the
paperwork you find that you must make at least 13 consecutive wkly
payments or 6 bi-weekly payments to establish a credit history with
them. Then they will ship your computer. You wish. Once they have
your initial filing fee and have set up an automatic payment system
through your bank account, debit card or credit card it is the last
correspondence you will have with them. Except for a second set of
documents you were never told about. Those are for the financing?
So now...you've done everything you're supposed to do and you're
ready for your computer. You will always be "ready" for your
computer. You will never get it. They write you off. They don't
send you your computer. They don't return calls or emails. These
people need to be stopped. Just do a search on Blue Hippo and
you'll see why. I wish I had investigated what seemed to be a good
deal. I'm now out $728.72. I did eberything I was suppose to and I
have nothing to show for it except my own embarassment at having
been screwed so thouroughly. I am amazed at the negative
information that is on line about this company. Even more amazing
is that I've contacted the BBB, the FTC, the CPA and the AG's
office...and nothing. I just thought that maybe a heavyweight like
CNN could and maybe would...put these people on the nationwide
view. Investigate them and ask the powers that be.."Why in the hell
are they still doing business?"
