Much has been left out of the reality of what is means to be
Black in America. The serious issue of the sheer number of innocent
Black men, women, and/or their children:
- Jailed without just cause.
- Killed without just cause.
- Who have had property taken from them or destroyed by agents
and officials of government without just cause.
- Who have had their families broken up without just cause.
The many Black men,
women, and/or children who have played by the rules, who have
abiding by the law, who have been ruined by the atrocities of
government all while the typical Black leaders, the Black
middleclass remain silent.
Furthermore, in communities Black people hold policy making
positions, the community has become more dangerous. For example
just here recently, two men have been killed by Inglewood police
officers, and the incompetence Inglewood Police chief Seabrooks, a
Black women. The second of the two men killed was killed as result
of this Police Chief Seabrooks allowing an officer involved in
killing of the first Black male of the two, to return to police
duty before the investigation was complete, which resulted in the
death of a second innocent Black male by the same rogue police
officer.
Sincerely,
Michael Lofton
