Black in America - A Misnomer
The Black in America experience, like everything else in our
universe, has to obey Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity. The
Special Theory states that an individual experience depends upon
the individual frame of reference. As such, the name of the
special, Black in America, is actually a misnomer as Einstein also
states there is no such thing as an absolute frame of reference for
everyone. Interview one, ten, or a hundred individuals and you will
get one, ten, or a hundred different frames of reference. To imply
that those one, ten, or a hundred individual frames represent an
entire demographic of our society is, I think, a rather pompous
attitude.
