Mom what were you thinking when you named your son "Lory." I've always kidded my parents that I joined the Army to change my name to Lieutenant or Captain. My whole life I've had fun with both my first and last name. In high school I received a free sample of "OB tampons" for "Ms". Lory - that was just the beginning of mailings for women's products that continues even today. In college I was trying to pick up my report card and was told by the nice lady that, "She'll have to come pick up her report card herself." Stated to the lady that I was her! When I first joined the Army I was required to report for a pregnancy test - got a good laugh from that one. I've been overweight on the female height/weight standards for the Army. Been asked why I'm using my mom's credit card.

Then there is the fun with my last name "Gurr." My wife's pet name for me is "Vinnie," just add the last name - VinnieGurr. We gave our son a middle name of "Ty" short for Tyler for TyGurr. Then there is FingGurr, SugGurr, HambaGurr, BoogGurr the list goes on.
