iReport —
I work in an old lima bean factory in Irvine, CA about 30 miles south from the epicenter of this earthquake. The building is an old wooden factory built back in the 1890s that has been partially converted into an office space. (You can see pictures at http://www.earthboundmedia.com/facilities.php?action=tour) This is one reason why you see people running for the doors, though I am told the wooden building is fairly good to be in during and earthquake because it bends and moves with the shaking. Regardless, it was scary to be here during the quake.
