Why is it that Utah is so high in the gas prices? Currently, gas is at an average price of $4.162 for the 85 grade of octaine and $4.716 for diesel. Utah is one of the lowest cost of living states in the nation, therefore, we have one of the lower amounts of income, especially with the working class and minimum wage level.

There is no reason why we should be 4th highest in the nation, 2nd within the continential 48. Utah is abundant with its own natural resources, including a share in the largest oil shale deposit in the world. In the Uintah mountains, there is an estimated 700 million barrels of oil shale in there. Its absolutely absurd.
Oh wait, I know the reason. We are run by a nation who's national leaders who have no backbone that bend to every whim of the enviromentalists. Its groups like the sierra club and morons like former Mayor of Salt Lake City Rocky Anderson that ruin everything for us.
Thank you so much envrios. You are ruining the world by trying to save it.
