Schools are out of control

I'm disappointed in the school today. I had gotten to the point where I went to middle school with my kids if they were tardy to class and while sitting in class I was shocked to see how the students treat teachers. NO RESPECT AT ALL. They cuss at them, ignore them, walk out of class etc. Then you get to high school and what baffles me is the fact that my kids know so much about the personal life of their teachers. Then I ask what they learned at school and they talk about their teachers and their families, their teachers hobbies and on. I monitor my kids grades on line and when I see there is a missing assignment I get on their butt. But when I receive an e-mail from a teacher that informs me my son is not turning in his homework and I find out my son not only turned in his homework but already got it back with a grade then I'm pissed. Then the teacher informs me that he has one hundred and some kids and he can't keep up with all of them. Well then, your in the wrong profession if you ask me. What is sad is when the class is so out of control and my son asks me to transfer him out of that class because no one pays attention and they don't let the teacher talk. I call the teacher and he confirms what my son says and tells me he will okay the transfer, I call the counselor and he's aware of the problem and apparently the administration is aware of the problem and yet nothing is being done about it. They are letting it happen.

Text books! My kids receive copies of assignments and copies of stories they have to read because there is not enought money to buy everyone a text book. So every year I go to the library and check the text books out so my kids will have something to work with when it comes to homework. RIDICULOUS!!!!!

Trust me I can go on and on.

So yes I have major problems with the schools today and believe our kids are not getting the education they deserve.
In response to assignment: Back to school, now and then
