Dry long days have set over the mile high city for a record of 26 days at 90 degrees or more , but a cool change has come over the skies of the Rocky Mountains. With the influence of the many tropical storms brewing over the Gulf of Mexico, Colorado has broken its all time record in exchange for monsoon like rain and Tornado sirens riddling the evening sky.

As many venture home for the evening of August 6th, we are encountered with a still storming and grey skies spawning funnels of fury. The rain fall has flooded the roads of some areas and flood warning considering the tornado alerts on teh television.

Staying calm is the best thing of all to do during a storm like this, but for most Coloradan right now, we are more cheering the rain than worrying for a tornado to touch down.
