Bernie Mac - Dead @ 50 years of Age
August 9, 2008 | Huntington Beach, California | Vetting explained
The other day I was reading alot of peoples iReports about turning 50.
It was inspiring for me as I am roughly half the age of your 50 year old.
I saw this breaking news today on Bernie Mac, whom I love. I think he is a great comedian and a true one of a kind person.
To die at 50 years old is heart breaking. To die anytime in life is always hard, but to think that essentially, this guy would probably not live to 100, most do not, but most people look at 50 as being the half way there mark. So he still had the rest of his life to give us laughs, to help other as he has done and so much more.
When i see stories like this it really makes me think alot more about living my life to its fullest. My brother was in a suicide bombing when he was 27, he lost his best friends and 23 others died from ages 5 on up.
He didnt walk away from it. He lost half his skull, some of his brain and had to relearn everything, so I do have some inspiration from that as well.
I guess all in all, its sad to see a good one go and it is always important to celebrate their lives and how they have impacted us.
Cheers Bernie!
