Do you think that this is the first time?
August 9, 2008 | Vetting explained
No, I am not surprised by a powerful man having an affair. At least twice a year we hear about one of those. What amazes me is how in the world someone thinks that they can get away with something like this without thinking about the consequences. How did he dare to run for president knowing that at any given time, while referring to family values this was going to "jump out of the box"?
Which makes me go to subject # 2 and character flaws "continued". We are talking about a beautiful, smart, and good wife. Tragedy in the form of the lost of a son, and a form of cancer that is very hard on patients and yes: I do think that the man who could have been the president is a total MONSTER. When you take all the facts he is the scum of the scum. Is not just the affair, is under what circumstances. And in the days of condoms, pills, AIDS, and everything in between for a man to have sex without protection (yes, I think that the baby that he held at 2 AM "may be his") is just insane.
No Dear John: You were not arrogant then, you have been arrogant, cruel, moronic, unloyal and everything in between all along.
