My Personal Memory About Mr. Isaac Hayes!
August 13, 2008 | ALBANY, New York | Vetting explained
I remember back in the days when I was in high school, my mom would get me up every morning at 6:30 am, I would jump out of bed grab my radio, and quickly change the station to 98.7 Kiss FM, because I loved to listen to the sexy sound of Mr. Legendary Soul Musician Isaac Hayes! His voice drove me wild, I loved Mr. Hayes deeply, I can also remember the birthday give a ways that he host every morning, if I'm not mistaking Isaac would call a birthday out on the radio, you had so much amount of time to respond if your birthday was called, you had to call the radio station to claim your prize. My birthday got called one day I got through to the radio station, but come to find out they did not service my home town, I was truly disappointed because I truly wanted to meet him.
Rest In Peace
Hearing that he passed was heartbreaking
I got nervous and started shaking
It took me back to the time
when his voice helped to ease my mind
Every morning I would turn on my radio
Just to hear the sweet sounds he spoke through my stereo
I'm truly a fan who will never forget
The wonderful man who was heaven sent
He has now crossed over to a place where there's no return
Because the lord has chosen to call him home
I sympathize with all the ones he left behind
Because It truly hurts when a loved one dies
Rest In Peace
Mr. Hayes
