It is a scary thought that Bigfoot believers are allowed to vote and make decisions that affect all of us. I knew some of the people that helped Ivan Marx pull off the original Bigfoot scam. It was first published in Argosy Magazine in 1968. These same people also staged several other of these Bigfoot stunts in the Pacific Northwest with footprints. On one occasion a pair of very large feet they had made were strapped to their shoes and put on backwards. They then ran downhill in the snow making footprints. This was done to make it look like Bigfoot was climbing up hill with along stride. They never pulled off the best plan of all. It was supposed to be a guy dressed up in the Gorilla like suit. The Bigfoot would appear as a giant by carrying a 3-5 year old child dressed up like a bearded logger in suspenders and a plaid shirt. The Bigfoot was going to be carrying this child/logger under his arm at a remote location where it would be seen and reported. The guy dressed up as Bigfoot, after being seen, would turn his back and run off carrying what would appear to be a man screaming for help. The voice of the man yelling would actually be the guy dressed up as Bigfoot. Ivan Marx was a well known wildlife and nature photographer He died in 1999. The latest spoof put out to the media has many flaws. One only needs to look close at the image to see that it too is staged.
