Where does paper go when you recycle it? Why should you change your paper habits? What can you do to reduce your paper footprint? These are just some of the questions that are explored in INFORM's new environmental video, The Secret Life of Paper. When we consider paper's entire life cycle, ranging from its harvesting from ancient forests to its disposal in landfills, the negative environmental consequences certainly add up. Clearly our paper consumption habits are troublesome, but there is much that the average consumer can do. Not only does this video explore the problems surrounding our paper consumption patterns, but it also presents practical solutions. Recycling and buying recycled paper, pursuing paper options made from alternative sources, and simply using less paper are among the many possibilities.
