Senator Robert Byrd endorses Obama? This guy shouldn't be endorsing any one. He is a prime example of the Democrat Party as a whole. Robert Byrd (Democrat) has been in Congress since 1958. A Kleagle (recruiter) in the Ku Klux Klan. Blurts out the "N-Word" still to this day and no one holds him accountable. He wrote about the desegregation of the US Military and stated,

"I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side... Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.

But Senator Byrd, this racist bag of crap still chairs the most powerful committees in the Congress and he has been re-elected time after time. Why? Because he is the State of West Virginia's Sugar Daddy of Government hand outs and earmarks.
