A favorite fall festival is the annual Halloween Camping Weekend at the KOA grounds in Crownsville, Maryland.

Not only do you pack up your camping gear, you take along of your spooky Halloween decoarations and creepy music to deck out your campsite.
There is a contest for best decorated campsite.
There a lots of activities for the young and young at heart. Sack races, bobbing for apples, bubble blowing with huge pans of soap suds, moon bouncing, face painting and of-course the annual costume contest , are really somethings to look forward to.
Prizes, first place through third place, are gift certificates from the camp store.
Last but not least ,as soon as the sun goes down, goblins and ghosts invaid the entire camp ground, looking for treats.
The smell of the campfires , hot dogs, hamburgers and somemores drift through out the sites.
This particular Halloween was freezing and a constant wind kept all of us very close to the blazing campfire.

In response to assignment: State fairs and fall festivals
