The influence of the Dave Matthews Band
August 20, 2008 | Rochester, Michigan | Vetting explained
When I am at a Dave Matthews Band concert, I am at peace. The music to me, is almost spiritual. It's my "happy place". The lost of LeRoi Moore has devistated me, it's so hard for me to wrap my mind around it.
I started following the bands music after a show when I was 18, I had never heard such a sweet sound. I am now 28 and still continue to follow, sometimes traveling out of my own state to see them play. It's what summer is all about to me!
My heart goes out to all of the members, Dave, Carter, Boyd, Stefan and traveling with them this summer long time friend of the band, Tim Reynolds. They are a family and have lost a brother who will never be replaced in our hearts. My favorite song, #41 is my favorite because of the parts LeRoi played. Someday our hearts will mend and the music will always play on. God Bless LeRoi and may he rest in peace.
