The Least Greatest Generation vs. Greatest Generation
August 21, 2008 | Vetting explained
As a whole, American adults and young adults are the whiniest, pansiest, most sensitive, selfish, ungrateful bastards on the face of the earth. How did The Greatest Generation; those who lived and fought through the Depression, sacrificed self and soul to throw the world on its back and save it from tyrants not once but twice, and turned the country into the greatest nation the world had ever known; how did they spawn within a couple generations a bunch of gimme gimme crybabies. We want a big house, big SUV, plasma tv, mochaccino half caf lite soy foam on the side, a couple crummy wars, oh, and low low taxes. waaahhh. if this was 1940, youd pull on your boots, man up and go fight for freedom and not think twice about it. youd ration and save and conserve in stride. youd keep the right people in office, pull it together and show the world what a few rebels and outcasts from Europe had been up to for the past hundred 150 years or so...figuring out how to kick ass and take names! But somewhere between then and now, we have forgotten how to do this. Lost the focus, got caught up in BS. Made lots of bad decisions as a whole, watch us do it again...McCain '08. We are a bunch of clowns

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
