Driveway Fish Walking Catfish
During day, I spotted something in the grass moving towards the
puddled water in the driveway. I assumed it was a snake. This
evening when I went out to lock the car, I saw something move. Out
of curiousity, I went down to the water in the driveway and
something jumped. I jumped too! I looked closer and saw it was a
fish. I called the neighbour outside to come see and yelled for my
wife, who was inside editing a paper for her friend. We caught the
fish and I picked it up and was blown away... A CATFISH ?? We live
a few kilometers from the river. And 300 meters from a canal.
Either it was thrown down on my lawn by Thor riding on Fay or it
grew legs and decided to take a walk. How it would get out of the
canal all the way to my driveway is a mystery.
