Back to School in America

It's Back to School time and I'm wondering how everyone is getting along. My kids are already in school. Thankfully, we were able to send ours back in new clothes and with all the supplies they needed. The economic stimulus check helped, as did shopping in July as opposed to waiting for the last minute. I've been reading reports of parents unable to send their kids back with shoes that fit (let alone a separate pair of shoes for gym or sports) and schools where teachers don't have enough art supplies and some bus routes have been shortened because of fuel costs. I want to recommend to parents who may be in a bind on school supplies, try to visit your local Family Dollar, Dollar General or Big Lots stores before you go to the "superstores". Superstores may be more convienient but I found better deals at the less sought after stores this year, for the same supplies. Good luck & God bless.
