Obama Really is Just Like the Others
August 23, 2008 | New York, New York | Vetting explained
I woke up this morning and learned Barack picked Joe Biden. While I have nothing against Joe Biden - I am disgusted and for the first time ever I have no clue who to vote for. I pride myself on the fact that I am very involved politically - but for the first time ever I am disgusted. I will admit that I was never a big Obama fan. The man talks and talks, but I have never really heard him say much.
I know his big message is change so he picks a running mate that has been in DC longer than I have been old enough to vote???
He picked Biden because of his experience which sounds logical - but how is he going to change with a certified member of old Washington on the ticket.
I am just dumbfouned...and now pray for a fabulous Independent pick....Bloomberg are you hearing me??

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
