Years ago I use to work aboard a yacht for a very wealthy man. He was involved in many business".Our home port was in Miami, Florida.
Last night I was reading my newspapers and watching the news channels and the documentary channel was doing a show on the Bermuda triangle. Quite interesting! It brought back memories.
Big boats like big trucks, etc., always require maintenance. After the maintenance there are always trial runs. Sea trials were always fun with this group I worked for.
The Bermuda triangle has had many unknown, unanswered things happen. Many boats, ships, etc. have vanished never to be heard of again.
Once I recall after major engine repairs going on a sea trial. Days like this our Captain always let the crew take turns steering the boat. After I had my turn, the Captain took the helm and I just stood next to him. We were all talking and asking him questions. ( A true sailor he was, well knowned and respected on the Miami waterfront.)
I asked him about the triangle. Everyone went silent. He looked at me and said right now you are in the middle of it, end of conversation... We were all floored by his answer, but it was never discussed again. :)
Do I believe in it? I dunno. But it is safe to say that there are many unanswered things about it. Many scientists theorize that it is the position of it. And it works like earthquakes, large storms..
