Still on the tarmac...2 hours and counting
August 26, 2008 | Vetting explained
My name is Kaamil Bey Isles and I am still sitting on the tarmac at the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport. It has been 2 hours since our flight was scheduled to depart to Raleigh-Durham (RDU). The captain just got on the intercom (for the 3rd time) to tell us that he has no news. He also indicated that there are 30-40 planes on the tarmac and that planes are seemingly receiving clearance at random. Oh yeah...it just started raining! Stay tuned. The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
