I think that the one thing we should take away from this convention is the way in which it hasn't ignored the fact that we are a diverse nation and that regardless of the amount of hype and rhetoric somewhere in this country a future President is watching and is not thinking I can't be President because I'm a Female or an African American or for that matter both. Hope is often ridiculed as a catch phrase or even a naive approach to a very cruel world, it would be nice to think that in this case it has inspired someone out there who has yet to be weighed down by the inevitable despair and cynism that comes with age to do great things for themselves and perhaps for the world.
