Missouri Kid wants Barack to know he will be watching tonight/ wants to dedicate half-court baskets
Hello, CNN I report News desk!
9 yr. old Honor Roll Student and National Junior Board Member
for charity, Mark Walker Jr. wants to show his support for Barack
Obama. Mark is a 4th grade student who lives in Missouri who loves
school and loves basketball. When he discovered that Barack Obama
also likes basketball, he was quite thrilled. Mark plans to join
"Kids for Obama" and hopes to get an opportunity to shoot
basketball with Mr. Obama someday. He wanted Mr. Obama to know that
he'll be watching his acceptance speech tonight with his family and
will tell ALL of his friends to watch as well.
Mark's half- court baskets on the footage was taken of Mark
prior to his trip to play basketball on Japanese television, Mark
wanted to dedicate his half-court shots to Barack Obama for
fighting to make education affordable for him someday as he has
plans to go to college and someday become as Mark will put it...
