South Louisiana Gas Shortages
August 28, 2008 | Lafayette, Louisiana | Vetting explained
We are Youngsville, LA, just south of Lafayette, LA, ground ZERO for Gustov......Looks like everyone here is taking this storm VERY seriously. Gasoline in town this evening has run dry at most stations for the lower octane fuels as everyone has begun to fill up vehicles and gas cans for generators. The local Lowes and Home Depot stores all have run out of generators and plywood. We have been assured more is on the way so this weekend ought to be hectic.
I work for an electrical contractor in New Iberia, La and we are preparing for the worst case senario, Cat 5 at Pecan Island, and are hoping for the best case senario, It starts to SNOW!
Will try to keep you posted from the "front"
