A renewed sense of American Pride!
August 29, 2008 | Clarksville, Tennessee | Vetting explained
Tonight was an American Milestone! After hearing Barack Obama's acceptance Spech, I have been left utterly speechless. I mean as a veteran of the Armed Forces I've always had a sense of pride about being an American. Even as a child growing up in south Florida I always loved the fact that I was an American even though my parents fled from Cuba in the 50's just as the Island nation was on the verge of being overtaken by Communism.
But tonight my sense of American Pride got a Revival! Man, Barack represents the U.S.A. I've been waiting on. An America that is Native American, Black, White,Hispanic, Asian, Jewish, Catholic and protestant and even athiest! An America that is actually United? What a concept! It's a Beautiful time to be an American!
