As a military wife, and as a woman, I am absolutely thrilled
with Senator McCain's choice of a running mate.
Governor Palin is the epitomy of an "every woman." She has
children, a special needs child, a son who is serving this country.
She is the leader of a great state in which I used to live. She is
poised, articluate and from what I've read about her, not a person
to take lightly.
I think it is time for a woman on the ticket. I'm proud of
the choice that has been made and I think America will see that the
rhetoric that is constantly being spun on biased television shows
is not what the party is about. I'm glad that Senator McCain sees
in her the qualities that will no doubt be assets that America can
benefit from.
I was going to vote for McCain because I thought he was the
better candidate, with more experience. I will now vote for him,
work for the campaign and make my presence known in the form of
donations.
Obama may be a great orator and has great personal style, but
the "Hollywood" connection and his own record will keep him from
the white house.
Good luck to the McCain/Palin team. We'll be in Washington DC
to help you celebrate your victory!
