No to Palin

John McCain's choice for VP is possibly the most insulting political move by the GOP in this election season. This is a blatant attempt to woo the supporters of Hillary Clinton. The worst part is... that it will work! The problem is that Palin and Clinton differ so fundamentally on the issues that the only people making the choice to support Palin are solely doing so because she is a woman. The sexism in this election has been unbelieveable, and the worst part is that so very few people see it. Not to mention the fact that Palin has 2 years of experience governing a state with a population comperable to that of Washington DC... not counting the temporary weekly employees of the government!
I am appalled at the choice, and firmly believe that anyone moving their support from Clinton to Palin is only acting to make the sexism in this country more acceptable. Use your brain, people! Think about it for just one minute and you'll see. Palin shares nothing with Clinton except the second X chromosome.

I wanted to like McCain and was open to voting for him, and I will no longer consider this to be an option. I truely hope that in the depths of the halls of the GOP, they understand that this move is a hail mary attempt, and I sincerely believe they have lost this election.
